Aloha!
This value is important in business and in our personal lives. I recently had a conversation with a close personal friend where I expressed my appreciation for our friendship. Despite having different points of view, we have not allowed decisiveness to get in the way. In response, he said that if a person has 5 people that they can count on to be there, that would be extraordinary.
On the business side, I was recently involved in a business transaction where the (typical) challenges were well managed because we kept the emotions out of the way and kept sight of the long-term effect in sight. We maintained our integrity, knowing that we have a long future ahead of us. This too is the sign of a good friend.
